It's been awhile but I'm still here!

Well, I haven't really posted anything here for a couple of months. Life got pretty hectic when I went back to uni and work and everything that comes with it. 

The good news is that I haven't given up, the bad news is that I haven't really tried all that hard either. It's really only in the last week that I've begun to take this thing seriously again. 

College food has been, as I expected, terrible. As a vegetarian I am really limited by what is offered. Attention alliance catering: BUBBLE AND SQUEAK IS NOT A VALID PROTEIN SOURCE. 
I have taken to cooking a lot of my own food so I don't miss out on the nutrients that I need. The only thing is that meal times is a really social experience at college and I feel like I'm missing out when I just eat my dinner in my room. 

I've also started drinking some celebrity slim shakes on occasion. Mostly for breakfast. I don't think I entirely agree with the meal replacement phenomenon, you need to eat real food to get real nutrients however, I'm using this a kickstart back into weight-loss. And it's working. I have lost the 2kgs I put on during my little slack-off. 

As for exercise I'm on my 3rd day of Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred. And oh boy, holy cow and mother of god. IT IS HARD. All my muscles are hurting like motherflippers. But it feels pretty good. I feel like I'm making good choices.
